Why does Yi become immune to attack speed slows during his ult?
It's just interesting to me that Nunu and Frozen Heart should be the best counter items against him, yet they do nothing against him in teamfights.

Because Riot believes that Yi's weakness is a team. And you know building items and stuff against him isn't supposed to be counter play. But its perfectly okay for him to build items to erase you and your items only slightly help against that. Also its perfectly okay for him to 1v2 and win because he is built (lol).
They don't seem to value the fact that his Q removes him from play (and is instant so can easily dodge CC) and that his W makes him extremely tanky for no reason.
Because Riot likes making melee champions who invalidate your defense.
And Nasus and Lee Sin.
Because they aren't? lmao hard CC always has been, always will be.
Considering that Yi has to go balls deep as a squishy melee with no escape to even do anything, Riot doesn't feel like it's fair if you can just build items and passively invalidate him as a champion. They require that you take action to stop him.

Because you shouldn't make a champion useless by building a single item against him.
Yi is a squishy melee carry who relies on sustained damage in team fights. If he didn't have ways to avoid dying he'd be garbage.
Yi is immune to debuffs which lower movement speed. Nunu's E and R lower movement speed so the effects are ignored.
