Decided to do a little statistical research with riot api and here are my results.

well done! I still wont be surrendering at 20 in my ranked games. If statistically some still win it might just be my game that comes back :)

Of course, you can always be the one in the percentage of games that won.

I'm going to assume you meant cant always.

But you will never be the one in those percents if you surrender.

I bet there is a correlation between percentage of games you did not surrender while behind and the percentage of comebacks you have. Something like never surrender and you have 60% of games are comebacks.

If you happen to check those stats you should post it here, it would be interesting.

This also destroys the myth that higher elos have shorter games because they are better at snowballing; plats and diamonds have a HIGHER comeback rate, because they don't make stupid decisions that put them further in the hole.
