We need an option to disable enemy skin particles.

I don't mean an option to disable enemy skin visuals altogether (I guess that kinda option wouldn't hurt either), but just to disable the modified ability particles some come with.

Riot doesn't want people to be able to 'buy power', but the reality is players still can. Skins that modify ability particles frequently do so in ways that make them harder to see: Diana's Dark Valkyrie Q is undeniably harder to see than her default's Q, especially through brush. Steel Legion Lux's Q and E were at one time nearly indistinguishable from one another. Underworld TF's Q is borderline invisible in Howling Abyss, as is pretty much everything Snow Day Ziggs does on that map. I could go on and on, believe me.

@Riot, give us an option to disable particle changes from enemy skins and use the 'classic' versions instead. I certainly don't mind skins and much of the time I don't mind the particle changes they bring, but when the visibility of certain abilities are drastically lowered because of skin's particles changes, it's something I think we should have the option to disable client-side.

As valid as your concerns are, I would never want to see such an option happen.

You may think you're having a hard time against those skins, but I didn't pay 3k RP for Spirit Guard Udyr just so, in the end, noone gets to see it. People usually buy skins not only for themselves, but for enemies too. They want to show off their looks. Giving players the ability to remove skins is basically as good as removing skins from the game alltogether, and that's never going to happen given the amount of money Riot makes from RP/Skin purchases.

Yes. I swear, if we could compare win rates of Steel Legion Lux and Underworld TF to their non-skin versions we would see how ridiculous they are.

Actually, that is a good question. Does Riot have stats on how skins effect win rates?

How is this not a thing yet. I swear i can never understand what lux casts at me, she changes particles all over the place. Her Q is incredibly punishing not to dodge, so it should be clear what it is, even if she has a skin on.
