Well not really, she's fun to play, but do you have any plans for her, Riot?

There was that change that never went through a while back:

What happened with that? It would have made it feel more like you were playing "Quinn and Valor" rather than just Quinn

The thing is that Quinn's kit is totally fine. Her issues are 100% bug-related.

Her passive is totally unreliable and janky as balls. Her autoattack sound plays before the autoattack fires (ESPECIALLY when it's the Harrier-modified auto, holy shit) which adds an unnecessary level of difficulty. Her E will sometimes just pull some weird bullshit like freezing you at the enemy's location or launching you in the opposite direction.

When you have a bug-free game, Quinn is actually really, really good. She bursts like crazy, duels incredibly well vs other marksmen, and has a ton of mapwide threat due to the way her ultimate functions.

It's just that so much of her damage comes from Harrier, which:

  1. chooses targets semi-randomly (and frequently forgets the "semi" part)
  2. isn't a "pop mark on autoattack" effect, but a "modify next autoattack" effect (which SERIOUSLY reduces its effectiveness)
  3. activates and goes on cooldown with no player input
  4. goes on cooldown after Vault regardless of how close it is to activate "properly".

So, here's what needs to be done.

  1. Stop Harrier from selecting targets AT ALL unless Quinn autoattacks, or a minion is at low health, or an enemy champion enters Quinn's autoattack range. This will prevent it from pulling shit like "Let's mark the baby Krug while dueling the enemy Tryndamere in jungle."
  2. Pop the fucking mark on autoattack. Seriously. The modified sound and visuals are cool but it adds a whole layer of clunk on top of a kit that demands responsiveness.
  3. Decouple the Vault mark from the passive cooldown. If I'm 2 seconds from having my passive available and I'm in a fight, I don't want to lose the double Harrier proc just because I'm unwilling to sit and wait for Valor to swoop in and poop on somebody.
  4. Make the autoattack sound effects play a couple of frames later than they currently do. I'm sick of hearing the "FWOOP", immediately moving, and then finding that Quinn hasn't actually fired a shot.

...And then maybe they can reduce her numbers a bit, because when she works right she's gonna be oppressive.

Riot admitted those changes weren't supposed to be on PBE yet. They were testing Quinn changes internally, and accidentally sent them to PBE. So Quinn is, or at least was, getting some attention

Riot totally ignores Quinn. If you looked at Keyori's videos lately, Quinn ended up having two bugs in that one video. I have highlighted some of her main weaknesses along with suggestions.

Her kit also is completely disfunctionnal. Valor has barely any purpose whatsoever. You can't use valor for anything else that chasing or running away. Once in your ult, you loose the ability to use your passive, which would allow some burst damage. In exchange you get what? ATk speed? AND it puts you in melee range? (vulnerability)..

The way I see it is Quinn should be that marksman (which she does decent at the moment) and valor should be the assassin. Your cooldowns should all go off to allow more burst, maybe combine your passive to your E or something to allow more burst. Basically, give valor a purpose more than just her mobility. It's stupid having to stay in Quinn form at most times while my ult is just sitting there waiting to be activated, but me not using it because in melee form I'd be putting myself at risk.

Also, Quinn's E can put her in a vulnerable spot if she gets CC'ed while on the target.

Quinn's passive modifies her auto-attack, so if the passive comes out WHILE an auto-attack is sent, the passive damage won't apply, you'll have to auto again.

if anything, what Quinn needs is a kit modification/rework and not numbers being tweaked. I can keep going but seeing Riot doesn't really care, I feel like giving up on her :( Which sucks because I love Quinn.

They really need to fix blinds. As it is with her and teemo, the first auto after being blinded always hits you. Try taking blinding gromp. The first attack will hit you even though it was blinded before being aggroed.

With Ashe's rework, she can now do anything Quinn can do better, and it SUCKS.

Her passive allows her to mark targets and deal additional damage to them, consistently She has a global vision spell that can be stored like Smites. She can pop out of a bush, murder an entire minion wave with her W, and then proceed to slow you to death with auto-attacks And of course the permanent damage increase in place of crits

And Quinn has her blind

I've seen so many well written posts about Quinn being ignored and posted a couple of them as well. Most mains can pinpoint her core issues coughbugscough and suggest fixes/buffs, but Riot never ever comments. They "fixed" some of her bugs some patches ago, but they just keep coming back. Her blind, which is core to her design, rarely works well and usually allows one more successful AA before activating thus removing alot of her potential. I main her and I'm reluctant to take her to ranked just because she's unreliable... Hope they work on her... Someday...

They should buff ahri first. She's useless in her current state. Quinn is actually playable but Ahri is almost as weak as gangplank.
