twitch is possibly the best designed champion in league

he has clear strengths and weaknesses, he doesnt do absurd damage but he does alot, he is squishy so he is easy to jump on, but with proper positioning he is still playable against lock on cc or assassins, he has a fairly weak lane phase but can turn it around, and has a strong late game.

he is basically the definition of a well designed champion.

however, currently, twitch is not only possibly the worst adc in lane, but he is also pretty much outclassed by half of the adcs still in the mid game and even the late game. there is really no reason to pick him over kalista, sivir, tristana, corki, jinx, and vayne. they all scale well into the mid late and they also all have pretty strong early except for vayne, but even she is much stronger then twitch early game.

i think twitch just needs some slight damage buffs for his early mid mostly. revert the poison nerfs and the base ad nerfs and make his e maybe have a bonus for the final stack, instead of just being another stack, make him feel rewarded for stacking that many. because lets be honest, right now his e is just a bad version of kalista's.

tldr: revert the base ad and poison nerfs, and give him something rewarding for getting all his stacks on his e.

twitch deserves to be a hypercarry powerhouse for how immobile and squishy he is. his only escape is his q, which can be delayed so much after the nerfs that it hardly counts as an escape. that nerf alone was honestly fine, as that simply makes his weakness even worse, which is fine for counterplay, however alongside that they ruined the whole reason twitch was even picked, and that was his damage. nerfing both his damage and mobility was a very bad move, but its not too late to make twitch great again.

Wait for the pass at adc items. If that doesn't make more marksmen viable, then there's no hope for botlane variety

I disagree. Twitch strengths

Strong throughout the game (his entire kit is really powerful early, riot just nerfed him too hard) Insane Aoe damage Insane range 8 second stealth Can kill the backline and the frontline at the same time (no other champion does this to the extent that twitch does) Massive damage in general Can be played as an assasin as well as an ADC Good duelist

Cons: No mobility No hard cc (doesn't really matter since he is an ADC).

As you can see, if riot buffs twitch, he can be absurdly powerful. People are forgetting how much he has in his kit.

Well the problem with Twitch is that he is by far the worst ADC to play when behind. Also, Kalista has a superior version of contaminate.

It would be nice if the amount of damage per stack would go up as the number of stacks increase, this way twitch is rewarded for actually putting stacks on people, rather than just trying to auto them to death

Honestly, I agree and disagree with you and Jbels on certain aspects.

First, Jbel, since your's is shorter: There's plenty of botlane variety. If anything, this season has seen more variety than any previous season. I mean, hell, Urgot was even picked this season for a short amount of time, as a midlaner and a marksman. Varus is no longer a marksman but instead a midlaner. Botlane has a lot more variety than any other role, especially with its reduced champion pool (marksman has the least champions of all other roles). Vayne, Caitlyn, Graves, Tristana, Sivir, Corki, Kalista, Jinx, Lucian, and Kog'maw are all strong picks, which is more than half of the amount of marksman champions available. It's unfortunate that Twitch isn't playable without a lot of mastery, as he and Vayne are my favourite champions, but you can't say there's no botlane variety.

Next, I completely agree with everything you said, Reson, to an extent. The E damage was honestly way too strong back in Season 4, and even when Riot tried to balance it, it was still extremely strong. If you don't remember, at level 2 he could harass the enemy at least 25% hp just with a W-AA-E+Passive combo. Then late game when he got all his stacks on an ADC or APC, if they were still alive at that point, you were dead. There was hardly any counterplay to it if your team was good enough to peel for his low mobility, which Samsung White took advantage of in the World Finals and won with him. Soon after worlds, Twitch was nerfed. It was for the better, but the nerf was way too hard.

Don't completely revert the poison/E damage, but increase it from what it currently is. I do, though, like the idea that Twitch should be rewarded for getting all his stacks, like a movement speed buff or an attack speed buff. One thing to add though, his Q nerf was also way too hard. There's almost no point in using it to escape unless you see the enemy coming from a mile away, because with the current meta you'll be dead before 6 seconds passes. So that either needs to be reverted or set to 3 seconds.

That's just my input.

I want them to buff his passive a bit, I want it to feel very scary to have it on as you stack it up. But It's pretty sad that early game it doesn't even do damage, it just stops or even lowers their health regen.
