Missions and losing games

One thing I noticed while playing recently with the missions is, that I felt much less frustrated after a lost game, if I had the right mission. If I lost a game prior to that, my reaction often was like "Holy sh**, this was a huge waste of time" (Especially if there were afk/trolls in the game or the game was a complete stomp). I just didn't feel like I made any progress (Yes, you get like ~50IP but... meh).

When I then got the quests to collect 20k gold or kill 1200 minions, this reaction suddenly changed to: "Yeah, we got completely stomped in the end, but at least my own performance did get me more than just this 'Defeat'-Screen. I still made progress on the quest". I went much more positive out of that lost game because the time invested didn't seem nearly as lost as if it were without the mission.

I feel like having these quests, that don't necessarily require you to win the game with specific requirements, make the losses that you will have (nobody wins 100% of the time) much more enjoyable.

I don't know how to properly end this post, other than a 0815: "Your thoughts on the matter?" ^^

It's the idea of still being rewarded. It doesn't matter that I lost that game, I still am making progress towards X goal. Which is great for this game. I lost a game this morning but I still managed to complete a quest from it so I felt good. It's a awesome system that I hope keeps adding more quests like "Do X". The Win ones all suck though.

I don't know what kind of missions you've been getting, but every mission I've got has been "Win the game on X map under X condition", not a "I lost this match, but I made progress on the quest" kind of mission. If I don't win, I don't get the mission finished.
