You better keep Akali's damage potential extremely low, otherwise, you have officially broken the game.

No, if she attacks you under your tower she will still receive tower shots in the brief windows of visibility.

Meaning you can hit her with AoEs and skillshots, and her burst in her kit is really delayed with limited kill potential without her 120s CD ult.
