riot might actually do something about stopwatch soon since they have a habit of nerfing a champion for an item, then nerfing/removing the item and not fixing the champion.
I'll take one champ being left to die if it means we get rid of stopwatch. As much as i'd hate to see it, i'd even let it be my main champion if that's what it took.
I do believe it has been stated several times that the stopwatch rune will be nerfed. One thing I remember was the shifting of runes in the tree so that you have to now choose between slightly magical boots and stopwatch instead of being able to pick up both, this change should be going live with tomorrow's patch. Don't remember where I heard it but I think they also may be toying with the idea of lowing the stasis duration for the stopwatch before it is upgraded.
