Why does Janna have a 55% win rate right now?

Ancient Coin's line provides high gold generation compared to Relic Shield and Spellthief's Edge in a standard game.

Janna tends to cockblock assassins (which are more common due to the Lethality buffs).

She can protect and strengthen her ADC (and keeping them alive is rather important since they provide DPS to kill tanks).

Redemption and Ardent Censor are rather powerful and synergize well with her kit.

its partly the gold coin changes and the duskblade buffs cause for more assassins to be played and janna has some godly disengage which can counter alot of assassins and assassin playstyles

because janna is the ultimate cock block champion, trying to get close to get a kill? Q nado to the face, what you had to burn flash and your still coming at her? here is a shield that amps dps followed by a slowing bird, and if all of that did not work lets just press R and remove you from the map again and undo any dps you managed to apply.

My question to you is why on earth would she NOT BE good? shes like a yasuo/riven/zed only in support form.

According to multiple pros, Janna is as easy as standing in the back spamming shields. Hard to mess up standing behind everyone and hitting one key on a targeted ability. If that's not enough, her Q completely disengages a whole fight and then R does it again when she's 6. It also doesn't hurt that Rito has repeatedly gutted her natural counters; Sona in particular who used to be Janna's main counter-pick has been THE weakest character in this game for 3 full years now.

A support protecting their team? There sure is something wrong with that.
