@Riot: Quinn is viable in four positions, how do you guys feel about her?
As of writing, champion.gg has significant data of her in four different positions. Her least successful position is the jungle, where she only manages to win 50.4% of her games. Her most successful position is the mid lane, with a 54.5% winrate. She usually scores high on kills and damage, but tends to have low CS.
Quinn has a number of strengths. Her blind lets her deny a mage the ability to land CC, renders melee champions useless in determining where they go, and disallows supports like Janna to use their shield on allies because they can't see them.
She has a knockback/stun, which is helpful even when behind, but not very strong utility. Her ult enables incredible roaming, which causes Quinn to seek out kills over CS and allows great map-wide mobility.
She also has a vision tool that works against juking and that gives free stats if she hits someone marked with her passive.
Quinn's weaknesses are a reliance on hitting the Q skillshot, an ult with little teamfight utility and a comparatively low range when compared to other marksmen. She also needs to snowball due to time spent roaming, and she falls off lategame if you build tanky, but dies very quickly if you build damage.
In the top lane, Quinn's low range is generally solid against most contenders. With her E, she can gapclose against mages and create distance against melee champions. Her blind gives her strong duelling potential since she can stay out of the blind's range and effectively harass an enemy while they have no agency to respond outside of skillshots and good guesstimations of Quinn's present location.
Mid lane, I am inclined to believe Quinn's effectiveness is owed to her high burst damage from level 1, effective harassment and the existence of
being extremely gold-efficient against mages. I imagine she struggles against Zed and Talon.
Quinn's rework has, overall, elevated her from a troll-ish pick to a top-tier champion well-capable of enabling snowballing due to her strong map presence, tools to avoid ganks, strong utility and powerful duelling ability.
I think Quinn's too strong and her weaknesses aren't well-defined enough, however. In the top lane, she can feel downright unfair because even if a melee champion has a gapcloser, Quinn has an ability to generate distance and undo any gapclosing that's been done.
How does Riot feel about it? What about other players?
Is Quinn strong because of numbers, because of her kit, because the meta favours her or because her itemisation is so versatile?
. Zed loses to Quinn cause she has stronger harass early game and as long she brings a defensive summoner spell, she can generally shut down his all ins once she has a lead, while
which pretty much all comes from
into
allowing her to beat their magic damage & go even or better.
is too... and everyone hates him...
top i feel that is just flat out BS. vayne just needs to have to attack you multiples of 3, where quinn has to play around her passive procs to successfully murder you.
