Eleisa's Miracle

For those who were not around before mid season 3 or just forgot about this Eleisa's Miracle was an item that was very unique to the rest in the game.

Now this item was very niche and back when i started playing League i only bought this when i played a healing support or Malzahar (I was a Malzahar and just the Hp/Mana regen was to good to turn down for me) I fell in love with this item immediately and was sad that it was removed in patch 3.14(I only got to use it for 8 patches. I started playing around Lissandra's release) However I thought about it recently. How would it fair today in League of Legends and how could we change it to better fit

So lets look at the stats and build path it had before it was removed.

Elesia's Miracle: 1100 gold (400 gold) ---Philosopher's Stone: 700 gold (425 gold) (Removed in patch 3.14) ------Faerie Charm: 125 gold (Old Effect: 1 hp/second. Changed patch 4.20) ------Rejuvenation Bead: 150 gold (Old Effect: 0.6 mana/second. Changed patch 4.20)

+10 Health Regeneration (2 hp/second) +15 Mana Regeneration (3 mana/second) UNIQUE – AID: Your Summoner Heal, Clarity and Clairvoyance cooldowns are reduced by 25%. (Clairvoyance was removed in patch 5.22) UNIQUE – ELEISA'S BLESSING: If you gain 3 levels with this item, you gain all the effects permanently and this item is consumed.

As you can tell the effects on this item are what made it very unique from any other. A passive effect that would reduce certain summoner spells cooldowns by a massive 25% and a passive effect that would consume the item after leveling up 3 times letting you keep its effects.

Personally, just due to the amount of mana regeneration this item did give and the AID passive, I believe this item would be way to strong for supports and would lead to ADCs taking Barrier/Exhaust while supports take Heal just cause they would have it up more often. Maybe niche on mages due to the reduced CD on Clarity.

Now, how could we change it to better fit into League of Legends today?

I have an idea on what i think would work out quite well.

Elesia's Miracle: 1600 gold (650 gold) ---Forbidden Idol: 800 gold (550 gold) ------Faerie Charm: 125 gold ------Faerie Charm: 125 gold ---Rejuvenation Bead: 150 gold

+50% Base Health Regen +50% Base Mana Regen Unique Passive: This item gains +5% Base Health Regen and 10% Base Mana Regen per level, up to 5 times, for a maximum of +75% Base Health Regen and 100% Base Mana Regen. Unique Passive: +8% Heal and Shield power Unique Passive: +10% Cooldown Reduction Unique Passive - Elesia's Blessing: If you gain 5 levels with this item, you gain all the stats and effects permanently and this item is consumed. Additionally, Healing or Shielding an ally heals them equal to 100% of your total mana regen for every second for 5 seconds.

What are your opinions on Elesia's Miracle would you like it to return or do you think maybe it should stay out of the game. Please answer the poll and leave a comment if you have any ideas or feedback on the item.

I don't like your answer choices in the poll, because it doesn't cover "no, the item isn't healthy in the long run."

I do think that mechanic could potentially be very useful. I'm still waiting for a world where supports can have a buffed yellow trinket instead of sightstone. I don't see why we can't go there with an item like this. It's easy for me to imagine a support item that was consumed and turned your trinket slot into a sightstone instead of the normal trinkets. Then your supports can still have 6 items slots... just saying.

The current iteration of gold/warding items is the best it's ever been, but we're still shy of perfect, imo. Could be better.

As support main i like this idea. but it is cheap i think from 1700-1900 will be healthy because those are really powerful passive and it will synergies greatly with other support items that uses item 3114 upgrade or item 3174

I used to build that item on everyone I played no matter the situation or who it was.

I dont feel like items having interactions with summoner spells is a good idea in the current league. Besides, if we really wanted to bring it back in a semi-viable way it would be ditched into a support item almost instantly. I'd make it (basides giving some basic stats like hp, hp regen and mp regen) a healing/shielding increase passive which after some amount of levels (or, more realistically, after healing/shielding your allies a certain amount) with this item in the inventory it would "engrave" the passive into a champion while itself completely losing it. With that you could still go for Ardent/Redemption after this item and get their passive healing/shielding increases effects.

If anything i'd see it as ward item for enchanters, so that they can get increased healing/shielding in the same item slot as wards. Not sure what would happen with ancient coin but it's feels kinda underwhelming currently anyway so dunno.

It's an item I liked the idea of, like Sword of the Occult, but in practice? Eh. There was a reason people never built them.

It sound really interesting to see. It would help enchanter without making their laning phase too oppressive. Sound a bit overpowered on sona. But i would change the lv into time required. Something like item 3027 that use time required. Mostly because early level is way easier than later level to get. Something like 10 min is fine.

I used to remember it, but I grew 5 years older and it just disappeared from my memory.

Profirix8/20/2018, 10:19:39 PM1 votes

I loved it because it never took up space in your inventory to get the effects. We need more items like that.

Pepperidge Farm remembers. I built it all the time as support, because of the boon it gave. Every little bit counted way back then even more than they do now.

I like the original one, it'd be great if it also worked on ghost.

your reworked version looks like a nightmare though. It would pretty much just be a support item with a few cases in other classes being able to use it. Either way it'll make supports broken as hell.

Reminder that it's named after an RP event on the old forums.

I remember winning an Aram with Janna Zero deaths no items on the aftergame scoreboard. Epic

It was a bad item anyway.

It would be interesting in the idea that it could shift the meta towards supports taking summoner 7 summoner 13 as a summoner rather than their partner. Who knows?

NO MORE CDR PLS! NO MORE HEAL AND SHIELD AMPS PLS! STOP IT!

Frontline Fury8/21/2018, 12:27:06 PM1 votes

I forgot it existed due to its niche nature. Ironic how back then when i was new enough to run heal every game i’d never pick this item up, yet today it’d be absurdly broken (see: heal cooldown nerf and how it warped the entire game as a whole, not just the people using it in mid and bot)

The Dreamwalker8/21/2018, 1:43:32 PM1 votes

They should bring it back to Nexus Blitz like they did for many other items, but the item does sound interesting. It is definitely an unique item. I wouldn't mind seeing it return.

I mostly loved it as a toplaner, get philo early for the sustain(especially the mana), then once you get some items finished and soon will want some inventory space you i upgrade it, usually consuming it around lvl 14 while haveing ~700g earned from philo, so a 400g effective cost for permanently increased sustain and some solid help in lane.

DW Diana8/20/2018, 8:09:48 PM1 votes

I feel item would be fine if you didn't make it a support only with the healing and shields. Remove those buts and reduce the cost/add resistances so it can be used by more than just 2-3 champions

Linna Excel8/20/2018, 8:23:06 PM1 votes

I miss that item because it was very slot efficient. Not sure I agree with the updated version.

item 3114+item 3801+550 = new eleisa's miracle

+200 health +10% cdr +10% heal and shield power +100% health and mana regen

Passive - Elesia's Miracle: when you are near allies with more levels than you, gain +1 XP per second per ally with more levels than you.
passive - Growth: After you gain 3 levels with this item gain all effects expect Growth permanently and this item is consumed.

This item was basically a "buy and forget". And it was weak and basically never bought. And your version of it is going to make supports too slot efficient, i mean, this item have basically pre-nerf Ardent level of base stats with a cost of 1600 AND not taking a item slot after 5 lvls. Concept of the Eleisa's sounds good on a first glance, but after some deep thought, it brings more problems than upsides
