Honestly it's probably not even a waste of slow. Olaf will usually throw his Q towards the direction he's moving (towards/behind the enemy), so it will CC Olaf (if not ulting) or his allies who are also chasing.

yea and i think that is cool. Normaly you would say Trundle Pillar is a wasted ability when olaf ults. But with that it is actual a bit useful. Only yi ult is now a problem but you can use pillar to cancel hiw w. But most times yi would regardless use it as autoattackcancel so only if he realy uses it as damage reduction it is useful.

Olaf became a LOT more awkward to play as/with/around ever since plants were introduced, and now I find this out.

I won’t start banning Trundle but I still pop every single blast plant I see post-6 and depending on the situation the health ones too.

If against an Australia/Yi/etc, I need as much standstill DPS as I can get when I’m ahead and they usually pop them as I’m the one chasing THEM to get me to prematurely pop ult to avoid slow or the amount healed is garbage compared to my W + passive/build.

Was going to edit this phone autocorrect but leaving it in. Why the hell is Udyr always replaced by Australia (except this time using it as an example? What?) I NEVER have any need for it to use it yet have many occasions had need to type Udyr (tried to correct that time, though!).

I have no idea, but unless you mean walling them off of getting near it, I'd guess not. Purely because of the hotbox differences. Olaf Axe is pretty small, and Trundle Pillar is a big area both vertically and horizontally.
