The "Meta" Is too enforced

Back then in League the main concept of the game was "play with what your comfortable with" resulting in many skill matchups and not "Pick the most OP Thing right now and you'll win" Since Season 5 i feel that the main strategy of the game has shifted to "Play the highest win rate champions due to them being so strong in this patch and just wait for next patch for riot to mess something up again" Im not saying Meta is a bad thing, im saying Meta is too enforced especially in ranked, honestly when was the last time you saw a in ranked that wasnt a 1 Trick?? Nah its mostly Top.

Actually not really. If someone wants to try something in a normals game, I don't care. That's why bot Lane ziggs is a thing. That's how the tank assasin meta and armor pen adc builds surfaced.

top lane is seriously the lane where you have the most freedom. If you think top is bad... try jungle, where you are borderline trolling if you don't play LeeSin Ivern Khazix Rengar .

That's not enforcing the meta though. Having a higher chance to win with X doesn't mean you can't pick Y, it just means you have to play Y better to make up for the difference.

Enforcing would be forbidding people from playing anything ADC unless it's from the Marksman class. If anything, the meta is defined by whats strong. I mean, play Soraka jungle if you want, though you have to know where your strengths are and play to them. If you play Soraka as a Lee Sin and try to get behind the enemy when ganking, you're probably going to die for it. You also need a good team comp for this to work since she isn't going to offer much damage or CC.

Not saying I want a Soraka jungle in my ranked games, but I'm not going to stop/flame someone for choosing it.

You can still dominate by picking what you're good at. Hell I play Taliyah botlane apc, Taliyah jungle, Taliyah mid, Taliyah top and Taliyah support. (Bot apc and mid work best)
