Anyone else tired of losing because of an Autofill?!?

How many of your games are lost because an Autofill player who knows nothing about their role they assigned??? Toplane is the worst case because if you have a Autofilled top, they will get stomped no matter how many ganks the jungler gives them. Autofill's will most likely cause their Lane to lose, which leads to a 1st Blood turret for the enemy team, and now everyone knows what'll happen from there on.

I dont have many suggestions to fix this issue, but i wanted to bring it up to the boards. My suggestions are: A( make it to where only support can get autofilled, and if they get autofilled, they wont get support for another 10 games B( Completely Remove the Autofill mechanic (Longer queue times)

Honestly, even if the autofilled person gets to switch with someone else, I still know I'm gonna lose, because someone who can't handle it will obviously be a bad player regardless.

Worst feature that Riot added in the game imo, but I get why they added it though. Some people were complaining that the queue times were too long. Me personally, I rather wait 5-10 minutes if it means getting my role than being forced into a role that I don't play for the sake of "faster queue times". I have a technique that I do when I'm in queue to avoid being autofilled though.

I already play Support, which offers autofill protection. And please don't suggest my prefered position be the only autofill option.

As far as a prefered position with autofill, they already do that. You can queue for a position and select autofill as the secondary. I would rather have the option to select Autofill with one position selected I would prefer not to get.

I mean really, how often are you autofilled? I get autofilled maybe once every 50 games.

Autofill for reduced queue times

Okay, Jungle/Top then.

6 minute queue

You were assigned: Support.

I have a few ideas and improvements.

  1. Add a Fill preference position. If your filled it weights towards this position.
  2. Fill protection does go down for dodged lobbys or remakes.
  3. A. Signify when in lobby when a player has been filled, will eliminate tgames some one failed and blamed the system for "filling them WTF RITO"
  4. B. Provide players who swap with a filled player that players auto fill protection.
  5. Have Fill protection a fluid amount of games, Longer protection time when more players are online in your mmr. the goal is to Spread the fills more evenly to prevent frustration players feel by getting from a unlucky fill, protected, protected, fill situation.

I have seen about 7 people get autofilled in the system, and at least 2 of em had an easy switch with a teammate that didn't mind a different role

Riot needs to give us the option of queuing SOLO QUEUE (NO DUOS) without autofilled players. Make them toggles. I don't give a shit if I have to wait an hour to get a match; I'd rather wait an hour getting a fair match than playing some trash match with an autofilled ADC vs. a premade duo.

Nah, but I am tired of losing because my team gets over confident or decides to just stand around and nothing like they decided to take a quick piss break mid fight.

You guys are monkeys literally like it's common sense of knowing how to play a little bit of each lane (atleast). Also filling is great because it reduces longer que times, with everyone getting autofilled in and out evenly. Also autofill the next game to ensure your next choosing of that roles (that ez :/...)
