Riot we need to talk about Twitch and his current state

Currently he sits at 46% winrate across all regions and tiers with only few champs having lower winrate than him.I personally think he is now the weakest adc due to his weak early game and his low trading potential. Many ad carries can bully him in the lane, therefore he lacks damage early on to deal with big cc tanks in the meta and his overall presence in teamfights. It is just a big struggle for him to reach that late game potential where he is hyper carry and his teamfight presence is the strongest among of all the ad carries.

I used to love playing and main Twitch back in s4 because of his stealth and his lategame teamfights with his ultimate, but right now i feel he doesnt have enough presence in early and mid game to be viable as adc.He is very immobile adc,so u can easily shut him down with big cc tank in the jungle or top who can lock him down with the assasins still popular in the mid lane and that combined with his bad laning phase makes him extremely hard to reach late game where he is the strongest.Ad carries like Jinx Ashe Kalista Caitlyn Lucian Graves etc. are strong in every stage of the game so why would somebody and even me pick Twitch instead of any of these carries. Why would i pick him over Jinx or Sivir or Caitlyn ,when they are all stronger than him early and mid game and still they are hypercarries lategame.

I feel so sad,but i think i wont going to play him in the future unless he undergoes some revisions.Help our favourite little rat to become viable againAmumu item 3070

His trading in lane is very unforgiving if you miss his W.

People still want to build BotRK into Ghostblade on him, and honestly, that just doesn't compare to Infinity Edge into Phantom Dancer unless you sneak up on the enemy ADC who is alone and drop everything on him/her, and then if they have IE/PD you still might lose the fight.

He's supposed to be a lane bully with that E he has, but I most often see him played super passively. and then he gets engaged on and dies or poked down and forced out of lane.

I play Twitch here and there and never have any issues. Not saying I'm a God, but maybe the people playing Twitch need to adapt their build/playstyle to the meta/lane matchup they have. Just my two cents.

Oh yeah, and winrate is a really, REALLY bad statistic unless it's unreasonably higher or lower than 50% (Like release Xin Zhao or LeBlanc years ago...). If a low skill-floor champion hovers around 50.00% +/- ~5.00% then they are fine.

stop bsing... people like you saying i play him blah blah i have no issues blah blah are mostly liars. in facts, you have not played a single game with twitch in ranked in season 5 yet(source op.gg) then how you say u play twtich and have no issues? u don't have issues because u only play against him and enjoy free wins

I don't play much ADC and if I do I don't play it in ranked.

I prefer other roles.

So your logic of me not playing Twitch by judging my ranked stats becomes moot.

You really need to go back to Troll School, I think you've already failed miserably.

Some champs wish they had such a high winrate...

I agree, as s support main. I find it really hard to keep Twitch in relevent in the game. Even if I use a support that has a good early, good poke and is safe (Lulu) it is hard for him to do well. Either he gets farm, but puts himself in very high risk, or he gets no farm, and won't feed as much. I love the rat, but I feel like there is no reason why to pick him, even in this meta, where HE IS SUPPOST TO BE A GOOD PICK ( True damage on tank, and huge range with ulti, other then the fact that it causes his basic attacks to travel across their full range and skewer every enemy they pass through)

Lulu has a terrible early game however, given her insane mana-hunger. It takes some serious last-hitting with that Dorans ring to get that blue bar flowing before your first dedicated mana item (which as a support is a LONG ways, seeing how you operate on a reduced budget and prioritize sighstone), this and her interesting scalings are why she is often preferred as a solo-laner support, since it gives her the last hits and the gold necessary to overcome her blue weakness, and then she provides some godly harass/poke/peel.

Twitch himself is kinda terrible in the tank meta, because tank meta means CC lockdown meta, and Twitch is extremely prone to getting cced into an early death, same goes with Kog'Maw.

any kogmaw that gets in range of crowd control is a dead kogmaw, that's why you don't do it...I mean, his basic attacks are at the same range as most crowd controls and you aren't supposed to engage until you've hit 2-3 ults and shredded 20% of a tank and 50% of a carry ^^ . then you simply outsustain or outdamage the carries and shred the tank when they get to you...that is, IF YOU HAVE A TEAM WITH YOU...otherwise, kogmaw is a glass cannon. Lol, it feels so funny to engage enemies and they're like "wtf? where'd my health bar go?" because they can't get to you to hit you. that's where champs like Yi come in...they are immune to your only crowd control and instantly shut you down...so, yeah, teamwork people

s4 twitch was very shît. only good twitch was season 1.

attack range : 600 instant aoe global slow (20%+10% per stack) that lasted 5.25sec Q : 60sec stealth that gave 100%attack speed ulti : does full damage to all targets and gave 140% attack speed bonus + 525 bonus range.

now twitch is ûber shît

Twitch isn't really that bad. If he gets fed early then he'll be able to carry the game very easily. His mid - late game is crazy powerful as he can either go around and burst people down with his stealth, or take down entire teams with his ultimate.

The thing is that Twitch's early game is SO bad that it makes it hard for him to get to this point and makes it almost worthless to play him unless you have a good support who can secure you kills or just keep you safe and farmed up until you get 2 or 3 items, which is typically when I go around and assassinate or am able to fight in teamfights and get a triple or something.

I think they should just give his Stealth a 3.5 second cast time if he's in combat and give his W some base damage and a better slow. Since he doesn't have an escape, and 6 seconds can be more than enough time for an entire teamfight I think this would make him not necessarily be able to be a really strong early champ (and it won't really buff his mid - late game either) but his W is almost non-exisent as you can only use it for engages and there really isn't a slow on it.

Pretty much just make him a more safe early game champion so that he can actually reach his mid - late game potential before he goes 0-6

While i cant deny jinx, sivir and caitlyn arent really hypercarries. Sivir is a utility carry. Yeah she has great late game carry potential but not greater than any other adc or any other champion that builds IE+AScrit item. Caitlyn just has a lot of range. Yeah she gets a slight bump up thanks to her passive, but the passive doesnt crit for that much damage relative to an AA. that said giving twitch a little bit of a boost might not be a bad idea. during season 4 they gave him a visual update, but not a gameplay update or buff. He only got nerfed that whole season.

I think he needs buffs to his basic abilities. They're all kind of bad...

His ult is the greatest ADC ult though. In one my games, I pushed R, gained attackrange greater than a tower, and I shot the enemy Vayne twice (once for 1k damage, another for 700) in under half a second and killed her from max health. This happened 3 times in a row in 3 seperate teamfights. I also ended up killing several other squishies on their team as collateral damage.

Although what really sucked in that game was early and mid. I was getting bursted and dived and 1 v 1'd constantly. Eventually I free-farmed enough to get all of my offensive items and pretty much outscaled the enemy ADC in teamfights.
