I own all the champs ( #NoLife ) and just level to 31. I got the capsule and some champ shards and it made me think why would I want to keep leveling if I own everyone? I pride myself on being able to buy new champs with the IP... er BE... I have stocked up the day of release. So seriously, what's the point?

So prior to this update, you had all the champs, what was the point in playing then? I would assume it was to enjoy the game, relax a bit, get some entertainment value in your spare time. It is the same now, but to show your time invested in the game, you can gain levels as you play, past the cap of level 30 it once was.

I mean it this way: What is the point for leveling for anyone with all the champs? If the rewards are just champ shards and some very little BE then it just feels like a passing "oh hey, look. I leveled up" and just not something satisfying.

Let me ask you this, prior to 7.22, what was the point of playing? You had all the champs, nothing to spend IP on, just play the game. Now it is the same, just a new added feature of higher levels attached to your account, and to gain an abundance of BE to buy the new champs as soon as they are released, the same as accumulating IP with no where to use it.
Amelie1 votesIt was the same with IP, though. Oh look, I got some IP for winning a game but I can't buy anything with it. But you forget that the "milestone" capsules give extra goodies (gemstones and emotes).
You can keep the shards for use to unlock level 6-7 mastery, or just disenchant into BE for the same reason.

I have yet to receive anything other than champ shards and blue essence in my capsules. I am level 109 now.
Plazmoid1 votesActually you could buy runes with IP in addition to champions before. But then they redid the rune system (and gave us blue essence in return) making it so champions are the only use for blue essence). I have 100s of champion shards and tens of thousands of blue essence I can't do anything with (other than a new champ every few months). Riot said they would do something special for people who owned all champs in light of the new system but we're still waiting.
