Cleanse should work against supresses

So this recently came to my realization that cleanse did not work against suppresses, I was about to report it as a bug but doing a little research I found out that it is actually like that on purpose. Now before I get into my stats lets look at 2 Things, a summoner spell and an item. But before we do I think we should note that summoner spells, which can only be selected pre-game and cannot ever be changed once in game, have a a much higher "value" than items, which you can simply sell for a slight loss of gold.

Now lets look at these: (FYI they are IN-GAME definitions not what hte wiki says)

summoner 1 Effect: Removes all disables and summoner spell debuffs affecting your champion and lowers the duration of incoming disables by 65% for 3 seconds. Cooldown: 210 seconds

item 3140 Active: UNIQUE – QUICKSILVER: Removes all debuffs( 90 second cooldown).

Now here is my issue, aside from the fact the in game cleanse doesn't even tell you it doesn't work on supressions ,which is technically a disable too so why wouldn't it, The two this have an almost identical description but cleanse also reduces incoming disables by 65% and removes summoner spell debuffs (which QSS ALSO DOES!!!)

Why in the world, would a summoner spell, which is precious and is taking up a slot that could be using something else, literally worse than an item that you can purchase for 1250 gold????

QSS - 1. Has a cooldown that is ~2.3x shorter than cleanse 2. ACTAULLY REMOVES Disables 3. Does everything else exactly like cleanse

Now that we can clearly see the unbalance lets see how it actually affects gameplay if you can't.

Specifically speaking, if you are playing an AD champion, and you're getting sick and tired of malz/warwick focusing you every single moment of every single day with their ultimates the solution is simple. Buy QSS, Easy. However if you're an AP based champion what in the world do you do. I mean ya you can buy a QSS but unless they add an item that is AP and builds from QSS you're literally wasting an inventory slot because who wants Mercurial Scimitar on an AP champ. This is where cleanse comes in. If you see the enemy team pick a warwick or malz, and you feel like you're playing a champ that they would most likely focus cleanse is the prefect solution, Sure you're getting rid of the super Meta Ignite or Teleport but now you actaully have a chance. (because tbh malz and ww late game doing half your health or more with their ults and then their team colLapsing on you while you're usless for a bit is pretty stupid, nothing you can do, unless of course you have qss).

This doesn't specifically affect me since I main adc and rarely play AP champs so im not bothered, however I am getting frustrated by others playing poorly because they simply have to rely on their team to be able to get to ww( much easier than getting to the malz in the very back btw) and cc him in order to not die. Being able to have a summoner spell to avoid that would be useful. Plus like seriosuly cleanse is on a 210 second cooldown, malz and ww can probably ult you 2 more times after you use it atleast once. But like it would help you get out of situations which otherwise would be inescapable. plus like as an ADC you just spam QSS any time any cc hits you and its back up really soon so like yolo amirite.

plz change it rito </3

also the meta summoner spells need to be change lol

btw I forgot that gangplank can also eat an orange to be k tooGangplank

My biggest beef with this would be that by having cleanse remove suppression, the champs that use it are damn near worthless. Think about malz especially, imagine if his opposing midlaner could pretty much just remove his ult, giving an immobile mage that has counterplay, even more.

If they gave a QSS based item to mages they would just run that + zhonya's and then you would never be able to kill a mage. So both get one type of survival item in those terms.

The whole point of suppression is that you can't do ANYTHING. Nothing. At all. Now there is this very easy out called Quick silver sash that gives you MR (because every suppression either has no damage or magic damage). An AP QSS would be too strong and would be rushed 2nd item on nearly any mid lanner.
