Idea for a Karma buff that I believe would make her a better champion overall.
Hey there! I'm an unranked Karma main who really would like to see Karma used more frequently! Being underrated as she is, I can't complain about the feeling of seeing people in absolute shock when I pull off something they didn't expect due to her lack of play. However, I feel as if the following buff (QoL? I don't know if you'd call it that or not, you tell me!) would not make her overpowered, but instead make her much more sensical.
On her Mantra'd W, instead of gaining X amount of health when cast and X amount of health if and when the root is accomplished, what if it worked like a drain? In other words, what if instead of gaining two flat amounts, and having to put yourself in a perhaps dangerous situation, just to attempt receive the second part of the heal, it was a constant drain?
I don't know about the numbering, but I think this would not only make Karma feel less awkward, but maybe even increase her win rate!
As of right now, in order to get the most of the heal from her Mantra'd W, you must cast it (first half), and then finish off the root (second half). What this does is it makes it an odd situation where, you're low on health, you use your Mantra'd W, and you can't decide if you should attempt to finish off the root to not only stun and heal from the person chasing you, or attempt to run away. By turning it into a constant drain that ticks... maybe every 0.25 seconds, it turns the ability into a much more viable option for one's Mantra'd ability choice.
When she was reworked, wasn't part of the goal to create a champion who didn't feel obligated to choose the same Mantra'd ability regardless of circumstance? This change would... well, change that!
Thanks for reading, have a nice day :) Let's hope Riot sees this!
