Why the Lethality update will be Talon's demise
Youmuu's is still gonna be fun as a rush item so won't talk much about it.
Duskblade of Draktharr now gives less AD AND much less damage on the passive, here's why: the 150 true damage proc was guaranteed in any circumstances, however if you're trying to assassinate an ADC with ga and tabi + their base/scaling armor value (and runes) the damage will be laughable lategame. Also there's the fact that people will ALWAYS use armor runes instead of HP so Draktharr's new passive will be worse than the current one at all stages of the game.
Edge of Night still maintains its duration AND cooldown nerf (was a while ago) in exchange for shitty HP (useless stat on an assassin) instead of MR AND increased price?! Also the fact that lethality will be changed to scale based off your own champion's level will make Talon riskier to play than he already is.
isn't flexible when it comes to builds, he NEEDS lethality to be effective, Hydra rush could be decent if you're snowballing and facing almost no cc comp and Death's Dance actually make Talon visible during stealth so it sucks ass by default, not gonna talk about BC's internal CD changes as I'm not sure if it's confirmed yet.
is better than
but that's it. Why does Riot insist to make him gimmicky and matchup dependent (since he NEEDS to win his lane) instead of being a consistently strong pick like
?
except it's much much faster.
