Can get carried to Silver and Gold but I can't. I learn one way and one way only. Playing with better/higher elo players. But that's not allowed here. I am stuck with people who are worse players than me. I have experience over them, I have map awareness big time over them and I am stuck with idiots making the same mistake over and over again and then I am expected to move up with weights around my neck. They get me killed in team fight and then run or they never push . But it's my fault? No, it's matchmaking.

I'm going to tell you straight up, if you are "stuck" in bronze 5, it is because you are bad and need to get better, no other reason.

I'll go ahead and disagree with this. Getting out of the B5 is a tactics game. Not a skill game. Maybe it's a decisions game.

Here's some tips I'm using to slowly climb out of Bronze:

  1. Do not play any ranked games on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

  2. You statistically have a higher chance of winning your first game of the day. Monday - Thursday play your first game in ranked. Then leave. Don't play another one.

  3. Most players in Bronze aren't being filtered out. There's no lower bracket, the trolls are tricky. You need to be prepared to win a 4v5 and you do that by playing a champ you know best (and screw up with least). You shouldn't have to think about things if an opportunity comes up. You should know the champ well enough to see an opportunity and react.

  4. If you're support, build to carry. SS, boots, then whatever it takes to win. I personally go portal, Sunfire, maybe thornmail. You need to farm, and get towers. TP isn't a bad option either if you've got a bunch of AD morons who think theyre playing Halo. Inhibs and super minions win games. Not kills. Never ever play for kills.

  5. If you're jungle, you're either getting someone fed, or harassing the saltiest person. Someone being fed increases your inhib kill count exponentially. You want them to kill inhibs. I don't care if Top needs the most help. If you go up to gank for him, you've pinged, and he can't close the deal, don't go back there. Laners who make excuses are going to fail you. Laners who capitalize on are the ones that you want to get fed. Be shameless. Camp a lane if needs be.

  6. You cannot be afraid to dodge a non-promo game. Most crybabies would rather scream about trolls and ask others to dodge. Thats how the trolls win. If you aren't willing to dodge, then the trolls hold all the negotiating power. Oh and do the community a favor and dodge at the very last second prior to the load screen. The longer you drag out their chances of getting in a game, the less than can screw other people. I dodge with 5 seconds to go just to avoid error.

  7. Remember, skill isn't the determining factor in a 4-button game for children. Decision making is. Do you dive on 3v1s? Don't. Is your ADC making super risky moves? Let him die. Tell him you're going to if he plays that way, but don't feed at any cost. If he gets mouthy, use the mute feature and carry on. The number one reason people get stuck in the B5 is because they think: attempting to get a kill and dying > not dying and playing safe/boring. This is brutally incorrect. And its why dummies get trapped.

  8. Learn to counter-pick. It's not that hard. Especially if you "hate that champ." Fine, hate them. But then figure out what champ counters them. Get good with this champ.

  9. Team comp matters. I don't care if you don't like playing tank/AP. You DO like to win. Figure out which of those champs are least awful to play. Get good with those champs.

  10. The weakest link is the area you should shore up first. You know what you're bad at. Fix it. Which is easy to do because, again, it's not about being phenomenal. It's about not giving the enemy kills. If you suck at top, find a top laner that lets you die less. The jungler, or another lane will pick up the carry-mantle, and it wont' be hard because you didn't give the top lane Jax 5 kills at the 15 min mark.

  11. Don't rage. Mute. Take a breath. Ward. Don't feed.

  12. Dragon and baron are newb traps. Baron isn't going to help you win. Super minions will.

As an unranked, I don't agree with everything here(muting cuts down on team communication and eliminates the opportunity to untilt someone who's having a bad game, by positively motivating him, or cheering him on, or subtly handing him a kill that you set up for him. Morale can work wonders on a player), but a lot of it is sound advice.

It is true, I can tell already from his items and builds that he is "stuck" there because of his own lack of skill. His items are bad, his CSing is poor, and his summoner choice is trash.

Here's some tips I'm using to slowly climb out of Bronze:

Simply getting better also helps.

Hell there was a point where I won 16 out 22 games. But this stupid system gave me no credit for my wins and double punished me for losses. I am no noob. But I want the same carry that everyone else gets so I can get a fair shot.

I have been out B5 several times by the way.

Ouch, this means you're so deep under bronze 5 that if there was a wood tier, you'd be in it.

Not trying to be condescending, degrading or hurtful. It's just that denying it's your own fault at this point is just like being in pure denial. Don't be the league of legends stereotype.

A win should count as win and loss as a loss. Not this stupid system, this is a team game.

I've got a friend who has been bronze since season 1, and I've played with him on bronze 5 alts. Every time was one of the easiest wins because their mistakes were so blatant and easy to take advantage of. I often times spectate his games and watch all of the players behaviors.

After all of this time, my final conclusion is that a bronze player's biggest road block is their inability to be honest with themselves. They are always making bad decisions. Even when they win. Constant mistakes. All the while they will say it was another's fault.

The biggest favor you can do yourself is admit that you have a lot to learn, and stop concerning yourself with how well your team is doing, and worry about what you are doing. Was that the right decision, should I have focused that guy over the other, could I have roamed after that shove and gotten a kill, etc.

It is hard not to get frustrated when you feel like your team mates are causing the loss, but there is nothing to be gained from focusing on that frustration. And even less to be gained by thinking it is never your fault.

I have already learned a lot. I am pass that stage they are holding me back my constant feeding and starting team fights, losing and then blaming me.

It is the truth. I have no reason to lie. I am not the one feeding or playing bad in most of these games. it's who I am stuck with. I can't win the game 1 vs 5. Been there, tried that. It doesn't work.

Doesn't matter the kind of win streaks you go on, just by looking at your match history I can see that you aren't ready to get out of bronze. The reason you don't get a lot of LP and lose a lot is because your win rate is poor, incredibly poor, you have 144 wins over 174 L, with how the system works, if you don't win more then you lose, of course you aren't going to go up.

Doesn't matter, and clearly not or you wouldn't be in the dredge of bronze.

And I'm sick of bronze players finding every excuse besides lack of skill why they aren't raising up any higher. I have been down there, I have seen how bronze players play, I know for a fact from both observation and personal experience that if you can't get out of bronze, you have no one to blame but yourself. You are just as likely to get feeders as the opponent's side and if you were playing at a level higher then bronze, you wouldn't need bot and could literally carry 1 vs 5.

Your CS is subpar, your summoner spells are bad, your masteries are poor, the items you build don't correlate with your masteries, runes, or the game you are in and your mechanic skill is likely subpar as well. The very first step to improving and getting out of bronze 5 is admitting you aren't as good as you think you are and cleaning up your play, if you don't want to and truly think that it is others keeping you down, enjoy your life in lower bronze, because you aren't ever going to get out.

Then instead of talking prove it. Because for all I know you were given your ranking. Accept my challenge and actually prove what you say because all you are doing is talking.

I have gotten out B5 before, that's not the issue. The system that keeps me there and pulls me back is. Hell if they would just would enforce the blocks I have made on the trolls and afks, I would have no issues.

Stop making excuses and get better, watch your replays, make less mistakes, build better and understand why certain items aren't good on certain champions at certain times.

Case in point with your last Cho Gath game, you are building AP cho gath but for some reason went down the defense tree. You are Cho Gath, you have a bunch of innate tankiness already and you are neutering yourself going down defense when you could have optimzed your damage by going thunderlord's or Deathfire grasp, also, don't take two battle summoners, ESPECIALLY on champions with no mobility. Flash is the end all be all and unless you are masterful at this game, you will get much better use out of tp and flash but if you have to go for the kill, at least ignite and flash.

then leave the post. I don't need to talk to a person who has done nothing and doesn't know anything. I have improved already. It's them. And going further in a hole doesn't help me. I want the same boost all of the people who have made it got.

But you raised one good point. I don't need friends in this game. I need to just be alone. You guys don't help me anyway, I need actions not words and that's all you people have.

They get you killed? That, at the very least, is your fault. If a player quite clearly has poor situational awareness why are you letting them decide when and where you fight?

Riot wants everyone to cooperate, even going so far as saying following a bad call can be better than splitting the team and following multiple things. This is usually the case, but the meta we are in is so snowbally that Riot's idea simply doesn't cut it when you're trying to climb in certain levels of play.

To put it simply use your own judgement, not that of your allies.

You get killed because you decided to either push with them or help them when you shouldn't have. Once you properly place the blame on you you'll be able to work on it and fix the behavior that is keeping you down.

Wrong again. I don't rage in game ever. So, please ask before you assume.

Read what I said again. I said nothing about raging. The behavior I'm talking about is positioning and map awareness related.

You're dying when you don't need to be. Once you place that blame on yourself you can fix whatever is causing it and stop the pointless deaths.

Don't blame your team when it's clearly your fault.

That's the thing though. Your decision making led you to where you died. Your decision making is what needs to change.

Don't focus on your team, focus on you. That's the thing you need to understand. If you properly blame yourself you're not focusing on your team, you're focusing on the one thing you can improve, change, and bring with you from game to game.

Climbing and getting to silver, gold, whatever it may be is by carrying those "idiots" and winning it for yourself. If you can't carry them you don't deserve (silver/gold/plat/dia etc.).
