Sona's poke is too strong. Needs big nerf.
She only needs 2 AP items and suddenly becomes a god of poking and doing a lot of magic damage.... can even 1v1 some people and win.
Her poke needs to be nerfed. Change the damage or AP ratios pronto

Sona's laning phase isn't what makes her strong. It's when you start grouping and her ENTIRE team is benefiting from those auras. That's why she's good.
No. It's all she has. If it gets to the point where you've let Sona get 2 big AP items that aren't Athene's or Ardent, then game over. Someone fed her.
.....uhh, she's really not that bad. Yes she can hit pretty hard but its not egregiously over the top or anything. In your game she was building straight damage. She didn't even pickup sightstone or locket or redemption.
if she was poking that much, the lane was probably way pushed in. That + no vision means that Yi should have had a gankfest down there. But it looks like he had a bad game.
This isn't a Sona issue. It's a team didn't communicate/react appropriately issue.

Ranged supports harass. Sona is a ranged support. So that means sona is doing what she should be doing.
