As an unlucky individual, I have become plagued with so many friend requests from level 1 bots that I have to decline 2 to 3 friend requests every day I get on. I'm sure a good amount of the community has had to deal with this before as well. My suggestion is as follows:

Force a brand new account to play a game or two before they get to have friends. Some people would be very harshly against this, especially people who like making smurfs and people who are trying to play with a newbie friend. Well, that's why it's only one game. Would you want to play an entire game of league for each advertisement you sent to somebody? Didn't think so. Hopefully RIOT will head my request and realize that this is a problem that nobody talks about but many have.

The friend requests aren't that annoying to me. Ignoring them just takes 2-3 button presses.

I get at least one bot daily I have to decline, it's not tedious, just annoying. I personally think a single game for a friends list is a good fix for it, seeing as you can add people to a game by name without having them added. It'd not even be much more than a mere inconvenience for smurfs with friends anyways.
