Those guys got to elo that they shouldn't be in and are ruining games for free with the soft inting of constantly trying to 1v1 any enemy. If u constantly do this u should be punished as much as u punish your own teammates by your soft inting.
Players that consistently play that poorly do have higher lp losses, as they'll lose games more often.
Rip actual support players.
Yeah, thwre should def be weighted lp gains and losses bases on performance. Ive been saying this for years.
What about support mains who go 2/10? It doesn't seem too horrible as a support as long as you have a high number of assists. Even if you didn't but you're peeling for the carries or getting the picks that count you should be considered to be doing fine.
I'd go for that. I've been regretting deranking my smurf since it hit about Bronze I, because even if I go 30-40 Stacks when I'm actually trying to win with Zyra on Dark Harvest...... It's still an "iffy" 1v9 or 2v8 game. Tonight I actually lost 26/11/19 with 41 DH stacks....... to a team with a 0/12 Neeko, and the only reason I had deaths was because my team hard inted a 
, which really left me trading him..... because at that point..... Nocturne's no longer about skill.
Game after that was also insanely long. Ended with 32 DH stacks.... My adc that game literally averaged 1 cs per minute for the first 20 minutes..... (had 21 cs at 20 minutes)
The 26/11 game had a similar player mid as Yasuo.
Also i gotta clarify that it should not be judged by purely looking at the k/da but at stuff like joinig teamfights pushing towers etc. If they just soft troll games w/o giving something to the team should just derank to where they belong.
All supports would be iron, because every pre season ppl, who are not even close to beeing able to,try to play adc. That mostly results in them beeing entirely afk or focused on minions, to the point where they wont even heal you. They wont poke, they wont attack, they wont look on the map, all they do is afk farming. Sure that you as support die more, than if u had a skillful adc. Assists are a minimal factor in calculating that, so a 1 /7/30 support should lose more lp than a 2/7/5 midlanern? That seems freaking unfair.
Worst idea I have ever read on these boards since I started playing when Lux was released. Use your head. If that system was in place and you died a few times in laning phase, let's say 0-3. then you have to make a guess at what the outcome of the game will be. If you think your team can't carry you, then you are BETTER OFF GOING AFK than continuing to play it out because it will result in less LP loss.
I get the spirit of the suggestion, but the lack of foresight is unreal.
