What's the point in putting people in iron 4 right after the first placement match?

For real it's not fun to me or my opponents getting killed all game long just because i do not belong in that elo. And it seems it will take a long time to get to my elo despite getting like 30-60 lp on win because of this new sketchy ranked changes happening in the next season.

You're trolling right? xD

MMR is not the same as your elo. Plus flex is not the same as solo queue rank. You'll get there quickly, especially with tier and promo skips that will come your way with an MMR that high. The completely new players will welcome the change, while everybody else will have no problem getting to their actual rank fast enough.
