I went 13/5/10 in my first placement game and I got placed bronze 1. Ok I realize MMR is a thing, but i've improved since last season. What is the point of doing placement games if riot will just base your rank off of your MMR anyway?? I even finished silver 2 in the preseason but riot still places me bronze 1 how is that fair?

No for real though, not climbing just means you aren't ready to move on to the higher skill level tiers. Everyone can improve something. I keep losing farm to bad roams where I don't get anything, I leave lane to roam at bad times, leaving my tower to take damage, my teamfight target focus can be super off at times
Uh dude. Did you read the rules? You have to play 10 placement games before your rank is set. After your first, they give you a "provisional" rank which is the LOWEST you can be set in. Keep on playing dude.
