Tear of the goddess on junglers?

i run 20% CDR from runes and masteries, and often do i find myself running very very low on mana, to a point where i just cannot stand

i also rush Frozen heart so it's basically 40% CDR

should i get Tear instead? cause even with Frozen heart's mana, i don't think it's actually "Enough" especially that i give out all of my blues to teammates, after the first one ofcourse, unless my mid and top don't use mana, i sometimes give it to the support

but yea, i'm honestly considering getting it, but is it worth? i have never in my life ever needed to buy tear, i've always was so careful on my resources, but this build Forces me to utilize for more action

i think Tear would be nice

btw, i'm playing Nautilus

how do i measure if it's worth or not? item 3070 Nautilus item 3070

Not on Nautilus. Neither of the items it builds into benefit him at all, and just buying it to sell completely wastes the potential of the item (Even if it is fairly cost efficient.)

The item you're gonna want to go with if you're having mana problems is Catalyst the Protector. All the mana you'll need, and builds into an insanely cost-efficient engagement item for tanks.

item 3010 -> item 3800

It's worth on karthus jungle.

And that's about it.

also ever try kassadin jungle XD with gunblade its used on udyr effectively as well. keep spamming turtle shield makes you tanky

Tear is slightly underrated IMO. You can buy tear for cheap early on, solving all your mana worries, and then later you can turn it into a 120+ AP item that is extremely gold efficient and grants a 550 health on-demand shield.

However, if you're going to buy an AP mana sustain item on Nautilus, consider buying item 3174 instead. The 30% mana restoration passive alone makes it very hard to run out of mana, not to mention the rest of the stats which are all very relevant on Nautilus, and the magic resistance works better with Nautilus' built in shield.

Tear solves absolutely no mana worries. It makes your inital mana pool higher, but once it is out it is just as out as before.
