So soraka is getting nerfed but janna does the exact same thing better?

Hmmm. I think Soraka allows for more mistakes than Janna because Soraka can heal heal heal but Janna has to time the shield correctly to block damage. Ok, Janna has a heal but it's on a huge cooldown. Also Soraka has global pressure. Tell me what you think Janna does better than Soraka . I think they're both good for different things.

but all supports do is stare at the screen with their thumb up their ass while the adc lasthits reacting to something isnt too hard

I'm sorry you feel that way and I challenge you to climb as a Support.

A good support will constantly harass the enemy as you farm. Start to push the wave if needed (not steal cs). Ward. Roam to mid to gank mid and help jungler out. A good support also pokes the enemy. A support should poke the enemy as much as possible. A support should not.... not poke the enemy. Honestly if your support isnt poking your probably a goner.

Its all baby steps compared to any other role. Still that is not what this is about. It is about janna not allowing any interaction just like soraka except an executioners calling doesn't stop janna.

I think you will like this song. Janna sings it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAsAaaEpmEQ

While Janna's shield does come with a little extra oomph beyond sustain (the extra AD of course), Soraka's heal is just too spammy in the early game.

As a Soraka main, I'm fine with the heal cooldown nerf. It only hurts her early game to give early game supports who should be thriving against her a chance, she maxes W first anyway so her midgame is almost completely untouched and her lategame is still going to be fine.

Besides, if you land the Q and then W, your overall lane sustain should be fine. This nerf heavily punishes bot lanes that heal up after every scratch, or don't trade properly. Which is good.

Yep, I think it's a decent nerf. I'm glad Rito chose this over nerfing the final cooldown of her heal.

Most of the Soraka players I've seen recently have been maxing Q first.

Maxing Q first provides poke and increased sustain over a period of time. While it requires you land your Q for sustain, it is a more aggressive playstyle which lets you absorb some poke while harassing your opponent down.

If that's how people want to play Soraka, more power to them. The incoming nerf shouldn't hurt them too much if they're not relying on the burst heal.

As someone who mains Soraka and Janna, I think Janna allows for way more mistakes, but also requires a faster reaction time due to her shield. If she gets targeted, she can shield herself, and if she positions badly she has the speed from Zephyr to help escape, as well as the knockback from her ult.

I agree that they're both good for different things though. Soraka is more about healing and Janna is more about protection.

Try ulting as Janna to heal your teammate at top lane from bottom lane. Come on, go on, show me.

because wish is what makes soraka op the theme is keeping dumbasses alive and janna does it better

BeatzBoyFTW2 votes

Yeah, as if every Support champion's role isn't to keep his/her team alive anyway. Wow, what logic.

Second task. Show me how you can silence a fed Mage (Kassadin for exampple) as Janna while he tries to rekt your carries. Come on, show me.
