Why do we balance around LCS?
If we are going to balance around LCS around when it's played (performed?), then why even have them play the same game? Why not just have them permanently on a different patch then us so certain picks aren't OP

If they were playing their own patch balanced around only the LCS, it would be like playing a different game to a degree. Master and Challenger players who are likely aspiring LCS players would basically have to learn completely new rotations, champions, bans, strengths and weakness' of each champion all over again just to compensate. It would create an LCS skill disparity where the people who've played the most on the LCS patches would be more experienced overall than those who don't, regardless if the player is Challenger rank 1.
Because for a crowd to have a feeling with the game, they have to be playing the same game
Why watch a game you aren't playing? Might aswell watch dota finals as a league player.
Also not everything it balanced around LCS, you don't see heimer and yi buffs because they aren't picked.
