With regards to match-making, that game wasn't actually too bad. The only real difference that they had a Gold 5 instead of a Silver 1 (and there isn't really much of a difference there).

While it can be annoying to have such a large gap between players in a game, there wasn't really a noticeable difference in the lane matchups since the two lowest ranked players were in the same role and everyone else was fairly close to one another.

Honestly, I think your biggest issue that game was team composition. The enemy team had better catch potential, teamfighting and sieging while your team had two ADCs with minimal peel (basically limited to Veigar cage and Soraka).

The enemy team probably just TF's ultimate to snowball the side-lanes and used their advantage to dominate the game.

What is your problem? Both teams had 3 Plat Players, ok, blue team has 2 gold players, but Gold 5 and Silver 1 are pretty much the same, I would even say the Silver 1 player is propably better than the Golf 5 player.

So... what exactly is wrong?

Gold 5 vs. Plat 4 it's the same as Silver 1 vs. Plat 5

Seems a balanced matchmaking to me.

ironically, this is the exact opposite of how dynamic queue is supposed to work. Premades are supposed to get matched up with solo queue players with a higher MMR. The fact that the reverse happened makes be skeptical of how accurate Riot's algorithms are. You would have to have a significantly high MMR for this to make sense.

You were solo?? If you can't even duo with a plat, you shouldn't be fighting them. Either they had low as f mmr, or you have REALLY high mmr.

Match looked fairly even to me.
