Akali shroud suggestion

Change akali's shroud so that enemies cannot see out of the shroud and enemies cannot see into the shroud, but enemies in the shroud can see akali if she is also in the shroud. Make it immune to vision items.

This will create more counterplay and more interesting playstyle. For akali to utilize the shroud versus someone trying to kill her, she will need to duck into and out of the shroud. It will be stronger late game (since everyone can just buy a 75 gold pink ward an completely invalidate the shroud as things now stand). It will also give the shroud more team utility, which will make her less feast or famine. But, in ways, it will be weaker early game because enemies have a way to gain vision of akali. Adjust other numbers to achieve balance if this change hurts or helps her too much.

You get vision in the shroud by walking into the shroud. No vision item required. This greatly increases counterplay in the absence of vision items.

But if she's against someone like Diana/Talon mid lane, or say, Riven/Darius top lane, she no longer has shroud for protection, because they can just go in it to kill her.

It's going to work for like 1 second in team fights until the tank steps into the shroud and then everyone can just pummel on her.

Only those enemies inside the shroud can see into the shroud. So the tank would have vision on her, but those outside the shroud would not. In any case it would be better than the current shroud where a single vision ward gives everyone vision of her.

In lane she would need to duck into and out of the shroud to utilize it's protection, since enemies cannot see out of it if they are in it, she would want to step out of it if they step into it to get her. And if they are out of it, she would want to step into it to gain invisibility.

Also, riven, talon, and diana are already hard counters to akali and I don't expect this would change.

Wouldn't that kill Akali since 2 of her skills are point and click based? What good does this shroud do if it means she can't even use her own abilities on someone outside it when she is in it or vice versa?

Also, you hiding in it does no good when you can't see the surprise enemy help that just showed up around the outside.

She would be able to see outside the shroud. Enemies would not.

It would not; vision items would not negate it like they currently do (shroud is useless in higher elos past level 7 or so when enemies upgrade red trinket or get now 75 gold vision wards).

Enemies cannot see out of the shroud if they are in it and cannot see into the shroud if they are outside of it. For Akali to use the shroud, she would duck into and out of it depending on where the enemy is.

This, I think, would actually be an extremely powerful skill because it could deny vision to enemies, not merely provide stealth to Akali.
