I got promoted to bronze IV! More advice, as promised.
I made it to bronze IV! As promised, I'm writing another advice thread.
- The baron and the elder dragon are both much more valuable than getting a single kill. So if the enemy jungler shows up, ignore him. Focus on the objective.
1') If the other team steals baron, it is because your jungler is bad. Spam "?" ping and take his jungle farm.
- Carries do far more dps than tanks, supports, or bruisers. So focus the carries. If you are a marksman, do not attack that tank or bruiser right in front of you. He is trying to distract you! Instead, move past him into position to attack the enemy carries.
2') If your marksman focuses the enemy tank, it is because your marksman is bad. If your marksman dies while trying to focus enemy carries, it is because he lacks mechanics. Spam "?" ping, go bot lane, and take his farm.
- Taking down the enemy inhibitor gives you a huge advantage! The superminions will naturally push the lane and can do a hefty amount of damage to turrets. That is why it is important to protect your superminions. Group as 5 in the lane where you took the inhibitor. Do not push another lane, as the other lanes do not have this advantage.
3') If one of your teammates pushes another lane, it is because he is bad. Spam "?" ping, follow him to the side lane, and take the farm.
- Killing only the caster minions in a minion wave will naturally cause the wave to push. Doing so late game, when many towers are down, forms a monster wave that will crash into the enemy base in a minute or two. The wave is so large that the enemy team will get a lot of gold by clearing it. This is why it is important to make sure you kill ALL the minions when you go to a side lane late game.
4') If one of your teammates leaves the melee minions alive, it is because he is bad. Do NOT spam "?" ping; you can take that farm, and the gold is obviously better on you.
- If your enemy laner is on a killing spree, his deaths give you and your team substantially more gold. This feature is RIOT's way of reminding you that the best way to turn around a losing lane is by prioritizing kills. Play aggro. All-in your opponent every chance you get!
5') If one of your teammates is losing lane and is cowering under his tower, it is because he is bad. Spam "?" ping, go to his lane, and take his farm. As a plus, this will help to push the lane into winning territory, as I explained on a previous thread.
- If you are winning lane, it is best to build damage to improve your snowball. If you are losing lane, it is also best to build damage because this maximizes your chances of getting shut-down gold.
I hope this advice thread will prove helpful.
