Be honest

Who thinks Annie should be reworked to be more of a support or left as the mage she is? I for one am leaning towards Annie being a support and not having the AP scaling she has for her simple face rolling kit.

I don't. She could use a bit more equal interaction with her kit, but why a support of all things?

She was first introduced to me as a support back when i first started and I've always felt comfortable playing her as one and always saw AP Annie as a "god mode"(youtube reference). Not trying to make an actual debate, just wanted to open my mind with the thoughts of others.

To be honest, she's intended as a super simply face roll champion for people who can't play the more complex champions.

Does she deal more damage than she probably should for how easy she is? Sure, but she's intended as a champion for people who don't play mid lane and are forced into it.

How to beat her in lane? Xerath Viktor Velkoz Just stay out of her range, she's actually a fairly short range mage, it's why she needs to flash in to most of her plays. If you can hit skill shots well, Xerath will tilt Annie players so hard they AFK, I've done it three different times.

True i am a midlane main i have viktor vel koz and annie. Annie is really good against low range mages. Or assasins you can 1 shot @6 when you have ignite. I always pick vel koz against annie;P its just to ez

I think her shield should give her move speed or a little gap closer, as it stands he kit is too summoner 4 reliant. Annie is not a support champion so gutting her kit and damning her to bot lane is not a cool idea. Not that I agree with support as a champion role in the first place. I think they should remarket them as utility champions and let them venture out of bot lane, mid Soraka and top Taric were cool.
