Why are they called champions?

League is now a ESPORT! In sports champions are the winners. half the "champions" in a lol game are not winners. This isnt a feel good trophy time. this is serous ESPORTS. ESPORTS is not soft. Thus champions should be called something else. Riot should simply call them competitors, or challengers. People train hard at the sport, we cant have people believe they are Champs when they have not earned it.

Furthermore, why are "champions" even all on equal ground. Urgot's been about 45% win rate for like years. He should get demoted to a lower tier of competition. Riots spoken clearly that there are designated winners, and failures. lets not hold back here it isn't good for the ESPORT!

Way back when lore was a thing, the various characters were representatives of their domain, so they were the champions of that area
