Because 1 shot a minion every minute or 2 is clearly broken OP.

This is its actual damage against players.

True Damage: 300 / 475 / 650 (+ 70% AP)

It requires farm, it is melee and Chogath has no gapclosers aside from flash, it also has huge cooldown. Meanwhile Yi deals this damage with Q-AA-AA after he stacks devourer

Cho Gath possibly has the worst cast animations in the game and feels like your playing a firetruck with rocks for wheels.

Next to him is Quinn.

Don't be next to a chogath's mouth. IT's not liek its ranged and cho isn't fast.

Can we also say if you have a team with nunu and cho you can chain devours to chunk drag/baron?
