How do you ask people to put out pink wards without them taking offense?

Have anyone found the way to do this? Every time I politely ask my teammates to place pink wards they either get snappy and angry back at me or they completely ignore it. I want to play games where warding is a very high priority instead of neglected.

I can barely even get my team to group up when I want them to. Getting them to ward? That's some fantasy world shit right there.

In seriousness, I'd probably say something like "Hey guys can I please get help putting out pinks at ______?"

"We should buy more pinks." statement gets completely ignored That's how you do it folks.

With the way riot is letting vision go, you cant even get a pink in your inventory after 30 minutes

Here's how I do it.

"Hey, guys, we need to get pink wards." Silence "Guys?" Teammate buys a pink ward "There we go. Guys, in order to win we need vision." "Dude, how old are you?" "Uh... I'm in college, why?" "Dunno. I thought you were 10." "Um... ok."

Alternatively, you can do this:

"Hey, man, could you get a pink ward on your next back?"

If anybody takes offense to that then there is no reasoning with them.

I can't make somebody do anything, but if I want to give advice, I say something like this;

''You don't have to, but try to build / buy X. It helps a lot.''

Those were the more easier results.

First, you go 10/0, 1v2 or 1v3 and kill everybody and stuff. Then you say, "drop a pink at XXX please thx".

Step 1: Buy 2 pinks Step 2: Place ward 1 in anywhere. Step 3: Place ward 2 where you actually need vision Step 4: -"WTF where did my other ward go...?" -"you can only have 1 pink per player noob" -"oh... so you guys have to buy your own?" -"yeah, actually I should probs get one...." Step 5: F*** bitchez Step 6: Get gold Step 7: Create Dank Memes Step 8: With all of the above, congratulations, you have now won the LCS, THANKS OBAMA

"Grab a pink ward please."

That's a pretty good way to ask. If they get snappy, then they weren't gonna get it anyway or weren't going to accept anything else as well.

"hey you fucking awesome person can you buy pink?"

Unknown Cipher1/25/2016, 11:17:15 PM1 votes

Yes, I see. The view seems quite like what I thought, it ain't gonna happen. All of these and even nicer ways has been tried by to little or no success.

Maybe the only solution is to reward pink warding in some way. "Place x pink wards outside of your own base a month and you get a pink loading screen crest the month after" or the likes.

It's basically just the attitude of the game in general. You give any good advice at all and they are just like "stfu bronze noob i no what im doing" It's like the "ur not my mom" of league.
