Is matchmaking broken again?

I'm in Silver 2; It's the 3rd time this week I've played a game where my entire team (including myself) were all silvers, and all 5 enemies were gold. (Solo queue)

Why does matchmaking seem more bias? It wasn't like this a few years ago.

ALSO In saying that, I've also played games where my entire team was silver & the enemy was all bronze. Doesn't feel very fun at all to stomp a team with a lower overall rating than us.
