Banning for one lane

Best bans = whatever helps your team win the most. In LCS it's either champs that you know your opponent will be amazing at, or it's champs that directly counter your intended team comp.

In solo queue, I think that it's best to ban out one lane, instead of distributing bans "3 OP champs". The counter to banning those champs is picking them, and if you ban your counters, then one lane gets a good lane. If you instead ban one champ per lane, then every lane can still get countered (assuming there are multiple counters to each champ).

I will say, however, this tends to create animosity during champ select.
