@Riot how do you feel about katarina

I think she feels underwhelming as an AP Assassin, especially when Elise & Diana exist. She's still a good clean up crew that you don't want around at the end of a team fight.

Katarina is an assassin with a clear identity : not especially a great duellist, but deadly against multiple squishy opponents. She is, from my point of view, not in a bad spot, but her very nature made her a difficult champion to buff, because one buff can make her overbearing.

Katarina's identity has remained mostly unchanged for the longest time. She's the cleaning lady that sweeps up the enemy after they've had all their fun. She's among the most terrifying assassins in the game alongside the likes of Yi. And like Yi, she's vulnerable to all sources of CC. If she feels underwhelming, it is simply because the number of champions that can lock her down has increased over the years since her release. That hardly diminishes the threat she poses, however. Her potential for acquiring a Pentakill exceeds most other champions and equals only a few.
