for some reason it has a button that says reconnect chat and it also says you can manually connect to chat. i generally dont use chat besides for movements and didnt get any messages of any sort for a chat ban? does anyone have any idea about this?
Chat server is separate and can be disconnected while you're still able to play. It's some sort of connection issue and you haven't gotten a chat restriction. Other than restarting the client or keep trying to reconnect to chat, I don't know any permanent fixes or why it does this.

There are quite a few posts reporting server issues atm. I'd refrain from playing another match until it gets fixed.
