Voice the opinion on the new ranked
Good evening, I been a League player since its infancy at S1 and this game is one of my favorite games ever(next to Horizon). I play this daily. This is probably about to change thanks to the new ranked system. Being forced to rank each individual position while no guaranteed position is already a little flawed. This is revealed as you will loose LP on positions that you haven't even played or trying to rank for that week in the split. You get penalized and reward for those. What does not make sense its the implementation of this "not so great" system knowing that sadly the majority of the players already rage when they don't get the role they want. For example (i experienced this today) someone who is trying to rank up in the mid gets top. He straight out stated "TBH not going to care this game since mid is my main rank". Individual proceeded to play carelessly and fed the top since there is no incentive for said individual to win or loose since that is not the ultimate goal in his mind.This scenario in different ways has happened over and over again. As a result, games are now noticeably one sided as the care is just not there. The point is, the old ranked was based on how overall of a player where you and you tried your hardest to rank up and have it out every game. Now, there is no incentive for this. Why I should care to rank up 5 different positions with 5 different ranks and progressions? This is too grindy and ever since then has turned into a toxic game. Until the system Is changed, i think my friends and myself will be sticking to norms or just playing other games as everyone on my friends list feels the same about the new ranked. Is a great idea to change but just not the correct one for this audience. This is solely my opinion i wished to express for the love of this game and hopefully someone, somewhere in the 1% chance at Riot looks at this and takes this input. The new ranked just does not work.
