Why is minion block still a thing?
Seriously, it adds nothing to the game, it just randomly secures kills or denies them by preventing you from hitting that last AA. Theres no skill involved in getting saved by your minion blocking your enemy.

It's a mechanic in the game, deal with it. It's there to do exactly what you don't like, and it's realistic.

That makes like 0 sense. League is a game, games are supposed to be fun and not anti-fun.
and it's realistic.
Again, games do not have to be realistic. Like, you kill Brand with Ignite, no wait, Nami heals him with a wave O.o
Games have to be somewhat realistic. For example, even floating/levitating/flying champions are stuck to the ground at most times. Gravity exists in League.
It is a built in part of the game. Just like how turrets are built in to target you if you attack enemies within it's range.
It has never been random. It's part of the game, same as CS-ing.
The shortest distance between me and you is the minions, if they dont have some collision detection lane bullies will have it much easier landing harass and minimize dmg.
Because they hate you for making them charge to their deaths and do their best to trip you.
Footwork micro is something that champions (especially in a melee vs melee matchup) can master to have an edge on their opponent. By being better at moving through minions then the other guy, you can make better trades and be better at catching someone or escaping a gank.
And then ofc there's fiora and her vitals.
