What Champion does Riot not care about, with a similar play style to Live Mordekaiser?

I don't want to play AD Bot lane Mordekaiser. That's just me. I understand that people may be hyped about the Dragon thing (Only thing people care about.) But I choose to play him because I don't want my main Champion Pick/Ban/Nerfed every patch. I also hate relying on others. And with this new Morde they're changing everything I liked about him.

TL;DR: This is a QQ post. I need a new main similar to live Morde. Any ideas?

It depends on how you played Mordekaiser. Personally, I enjoyed playing him as a bruiser with an emphasis on magic penetration and wading through fights rather than playing him as a burst mage.

If you are looking for a similar playstyle or champion, you might enjoy: Yorick Rumble Shyvana

Yorick is probably your best bet, though he has had a rework pending for years at this point. Shyvana and Rumble are likely on Riot's watch-list at the moment.

Sadly, Mordekaiser was a pretty unique champion. There aren't many with similar strengths, weaknesses, and playstyle.
