Can Jhin get zoomed in while ulting?

Jax Cramer··2 votes·1,094 views

So he can't see anything and would have to look at the minimap to hit his easymode freelo ult.

Go outside, get fresh air and youll forget your bad game friend!

I enjoyed the match but its sad to see bad players who cant even lane end up carrying the game just because they are playing a broken champ with a freelo ult.

Astôlfo4 votes

And it's sad to see when trash players can't dodge such thin, bodyblockable skillshots that roots Jhin and literally puts a cone showing where he is.

Jax Cramer2 votes

Ah the Bronze V back at calling other players trash :D

Astôlfo4 votes

??? Do you have any actually valid points?

Jax Cramer2 votes

Whats your valid point lmfao?

Calling other players (who are much higher rank than you btw) trash when Jhin has been the best adc this whole season and was one of the top picks at worlds??????

Must be trash players there who cant dodge skillshots at worlds.

You are beyond retarded imo...I don't know why you are allowed to post here.

Slythion8 votes

it's easy to be a condescending asshole to others behind the veil of anonymity, isn't it big boy?

The dude stated some very notable points such as how Jhin is rooted during it's casting, how ulting gives away his position, how the projectiles are thin and easily body-blocked, and I will add how anyone with mobility can dodge at least the first 2-3 fairly easily, if not all of them.

Your argument?

Calling him bad, rank-shaming him, saying it was in worlds so it must be "broken" (despite worlds having been played multiple patches ago and the game has been changed considerably since then), and providing no actual real points. You resort to calling him a "broken champion with a freelo/unskilled ult" multiple times because you are actually too salty to provide a decent argument.

So please, take your babyrage off the internet where you don't lash out at others, it really is quite immature

BeatzBoyFTW1 votes

OP got so rekt that he stopped replying to you out of embarrassment lawl.

Jax Cramer1 votes

You are right but a terrible player who plays at the bottom of the ranked latter can call other players "trash".

There is no argument to provide...anyone who plays this game at a decent level knows how broken Jhin was for all of season 6.

Why do you think he was in every game at worlds?

Because all his skillshots can be dodged easily right? :)

Slythion1 votes

Jhin was played at worlds because he provides utility, which is shown to be valued in every competetive adc pick

Ashe Jhin Kalista (pre-shreckoning)

He has multiple slows and great macro-zoning tools in his kit that I'd argue are on-par with Caitlyn's micro-zoning aspects to her kit. Worlds is a completely different environment than solo/duo or even flex queue, becuase champions centered around teamwork and coordination are valued wayyy more than the traditional solo queue carry champs. To say a champion is OP in solo/duo because it was picked a lot in worlds is just a false connection.

There is no argument to provide

If you take a standpoint on things and are right, there is always an argument to provide. If there is no argument, then there is no case. Jhin's ult has clear counterplay with his self-imposed root and self-revealing ult + thin projectiles that can be blocked and dodged. What part of his ult seems op to you? Do some of these weaknesses not present themselves as strongly as you'd like? Perhaps you want a slower projectile speed? You have to explain, not purely insult. No one has ever changed their minds through insults.

And you had better read his comment where he supposedly called all players above his rank "trash". Believe it or not, there are trash players in every elo. And yes, if you can't block/dodge/spot a weakness in Jhin's ult then you are trash in that aspect (just because you're plat doesn't make you perfect). He never called everyone trash.

I'll argue that Jhin has been strong all season, but hardly op and if he was, it wouldn't be due to his ult imo

JQKAndrei1 votes

While I agree with your points, I find ironic the b4 guy calling people trash when he's in the bottom 7% of the ladder.

Slythion1 votes

ya it was a bit...hypocritical but it didn't invalidate any of his real points so meh

TyrekGoldenspear2 votes

Bronze IV.

Get it right if you're going to rank call.

Jax Cramer1 votes

same shit

TyrekGoldenspear2 votes

I'm not going to bother checking your rank becuase this is probably a boards account, but he clearly has a better grasp of the game than you do.

You probably call any ult that wins a game retarded or no skill.

Jax Cramer1 votes

Plat IV and no, if he had a better graps of the game than I do he wouldnt be 20 divisions lower than me.

TyrekGoldenspear2 votes

One could be boosted, or gotten to a higher rank through grinding without gaining much knowledge other than gaining mechanical knowledge at your main champ.

Besides, you should know he was used in worlds becuase his ult made for simple engages, not executions.

Becuase a long range ult that is all skillshot is bo skill, amiright?

Jax Cramer1 votes

I play all champs and all roles.

By all champs I mean alot of different ones.

Jhin was used at worlds because he was the best adc on that patch as he had been all season. Teams at worlds only pick broken stuff because they actually play for money.

Huh... Thought that you where Plat 4... How odd...

Void Nargacuga1 votes

Alright I made a mistake. Shit happens.

Jax Cramer1 votes

Yes it happens. But why would I lie about my rank and say I am Plat IV when Plat IV is not even good?

Void Nargacuga1 votes

Why comment/make threads while using a level 10 smurf account? IMO that doesn't really make for good first impressions. But that is just me.

Jax Cramer1 votes

Because I am tired of my main getting reported by butthurt kids on these boards.

Slythion3 votes

I was bronze 4 for all of last season and the majority of this season. People like you who resort to rank-shaming because they can't provide any real points would do the same exact thing to me.

I actually applied myself to rank for the last 7 days this season and quickly climbed to gold 5 with >70% win ratio.

You don't have to be an a jerk when someone disagrees with you, you just have to provide actual insight to this so-called superior game knowledge that you have. This, you have completely failed to do in favor of insulting and ridiculing others.

Jax Cramer1 votes

How is that being a jerk? This guy is chiling at the bottom of the ladder yet goes around calling other players "trash". But thats ok in your eyes I suppose.

But if I tell him he sucks I am "rank-shaming" him.

Slythion2 votes

because "rank-shaming" is when you use a player's rank as a reason to legitimize your position in an debate. You're comment was centered around the idea that you're position is better thank his because your rank is higher, which provides no logical feedback or evidence to actually support your case.

Your comment was centralized around that intention while his was an off-handed and slightly innappropriate insult towards anyone who disagreed with his position. Immature? Yes. But not as much as your rank-shaming

Jax Cramer1 votes

You mean when he replied to a comment directed to another guy and called me trash?

or this comment?

{quoted}

lmao trash players crying about Jhin

nice hypocrisy on your side homie.

Slythion2 votes

it's almost like you didn't even read my comment...

Astôlfo1 votes

I barely even play/care about Ranked anyways at the moment. League is my first MOBA ever lol, started mid/late December 2015. I can't do that well in practice yet, but I have fun looking stuff up and learning/theorizing knowledge-wise in my free time, supplemented by what professional/highly skilled players say/do/write/stream/etc. Not to mention just using common sense.

No?

Jax Cramer1 votes

Yes???

Luxs Destiny3 votes

iirc it used to be like that. They zoomed it out to keep it in line with the other semi-global stationary ult, i.e. Xerath. it's not going to be reverted.

Ralanr1 votes

Since when? Before he was released?

Jax Cramer1 votes

It never used to be like that.

Exactly.

Why not just turn it into a FPS when he ults then? /s
