Not sure how to feel about this situation.

Playing normal draft on my low level account, we tried an invade and our gangplank disgracefully dies under tower to a thresh. As we all disperse and head to our respective lanes we notice our adc didnt connect at all. As support morgana i just sit bot lane throwing out random snares and csing to the best of my ability and generally not trying because i know it will be a headache of a game and we will just remake 3 minutes in anyhow. 3 minutes comes along, 3 rejects on the remake vote. "Why are you dicks wasting my time with a 4v5 and a headache of a lane?" argument ensues, im an asshole. yadda yadda if my free time was so important why even play league of legends? et cetera. 25 minutes of getting dicked in the ass later, the adc comes back and we start winning team fights, snowball through their mid lane and win the game. Not sure how to feel, since we won. But i feel like remaking the game would have been a much more fun alternative so we could all move on with our lives and not have to suffer through getting ganked ad nauseum and, personally, myself having to go through a 2v1 hellish lane.

Thoughts? Am I a dick because I didnt want to waste my time on an uphill battle when theres a reset button for a reason?

I think yours is once a lifetime experience. My teams always agrees to remake.

Why didn't you just open bot lane? I'm all for the never surrender mentality and keep fighting in situations that look bad, but I would never def bot alone for more than 10 minutes. Just move a bit in base to not get the afk penalty and tell the enemy to finish through bot lane. If your team is annoying just mute them. I would ofc only do this in situations where a team member is missing for such a long time and it's not ranked.
