wtf?

No matter how good/bad I do toplane every game devolves into fucking dodgeball by midgame. Literally both me and the enemy top are just forced to sit mid at 25 dodging skillshots by Mages cause god knows even if they miss 15 of them the one that hits you will chunk you for half your hp bar.

Eventually when the fight DOES start your missing 40% of your hp bar and the Karthus just R's the rest down, its not fun dude it isnt.

I can go 10/0 or 0/10 at the end of the day I will get bursted down, 2 games ago I reached 172 fucking MR on Pantheon and was still squishy as fuck without my E up

Edit: Says mage bais exists

  • 8 downvotes without any conversation just insults about being a bruiser/assassin main xD

"Mage bias" is the self victim cry of the swarms of bruiser and assassin mains that think they should be able to right click on and kill a mage while shrugging off their damage.

when the game becomes dodgeball you should just back off. you are just jerking off wasting your time.

If neither team is going to engage its pointless for you to be there.

Sounds like exactly like kind of Toplaner... I never want to have in my game.

What the hell are you playing to get 40% by Karthus?

You're Top: It's your freaking job to END the dodgeball! (Or the JGLs) And if neither you nor your JGL had the braincells to pick some engage(decent splitpush works as well) you simply deserve to get poked into oblivion.

this is why assassins are popular

Okay? And if you ever get on them they die without counterplay, why should it then be easy for you to get on them?

mages, supports, mobile melees and assassins deal with mages. For that matter, anything which can attack a mage can probably kill it

if your team comp has no method to deal with mages, work to your strengths and their weaknesses, for example, a high poke damage team is terrible against split pushing(for example, your example of a mage mid and karthus on the same team )

if you have no method to fight the mages, DON'T FIGHT THEM. If their crowd control is on cooldown, engage. If they're a mage with a very fast, low range crowd control, get your own mage or assassin in there and burst them down for even attempting a risky play after they use it

If you are an immobile melee, IT IS NOT YOUR JOB TO GET TO MAGES and if you are alone, you certainly SHOULD NOT BE ENGAGING THE OPPOSING TEAM

Mages have consistently been the most balanced class in the game and have the most counter-play as one of the primary causes of that
