Some tips to One-For-All

Rotating game mode queue now live!

You may notice that One-For-All is returning to the RGM on the 5th. Here's some tips you might find useful when playing this game mode.

Champions to ban because most people know how strong they are on One-For-All and are likely to pick them if they aren't banned:

Heimerdinger: 5 Heimerdingers on one lane pretty much reduces your chance of pushing or ganking it to 0.

Yasuo: If you are launched into the air by one Yasuo tornado, 3-5 Yasuos ult you with that one knockup.

MasterYi: If a teamfight breaks out, all five Master Yis immediately become untargetable while your team suffers 5 Alpha Strikes.

Champions with hidden strength on One-For-All that do amazing on it.

Karthus: With good teamwork (good luck to those in Elo hell) you can line up once you all hit level 6 and ult in unison. Make sure to put a 2.5 second delay between each ult or item 3157 will ruin your entire plan. Even if an enemy buys item 3157 and item 3102 they're going to get hit with at least 3 ultimates. item 3026 would be a good counter to this, but it has a 300 second cooldown. Also if you're not playing him, ban him.

Veigar: When an enemy gets locked down by Veigar's Event Horizon, they tend to get a Dark Matter on their face. Imagine 5 Dark Matters on one guy's face. Ouch. This is not a good matchup against Olaf, however since he's just going to Ragnarok and waddle into your team to destroy it, so ban him.

Galio: A typical teamfight works out like this: One Galio ults, before his ult finishes, another ults, before his ultimate detonates, another one ults, by this point, most everyone in the enemy team is dead, if not, you still have two more ults.

Amumu: Now it's their turn to weep. Amumu pretty much works the same way as Galio.

Zilean: Now Zilean doesn't have to rewind in order to slap another time bomb on somebody. Also with the presence of 5 ults, nobody dies post-six.

Taric: You may think this one's going to suck, being a support and all. But with 5 Tarics, there isn't going to be anybody dying. Also the entire team can go invulnerable for about 10 seconds instead of 2. Ban Zyra, though.

Illaoi: The enemy team will never win a teamfight. Period.

A useful tip to those trapped in elo hell: If you happen to be in Bronze where nobody has any teamwork, try to encourage your team to all push mid post-six because the enemy team will respond to it in ones and twos while there's going to be at least one idiot who believes continuing to farm on bot or top is a good idea.

Brand The passive stack no matter who hits you so it is much easier to get the 3 stack explosion.

Malzahar So...many...Voildlings.

Ryze Anyone can proc the E spell so 2 in a lane can easily mark the whole wave for the Q. Plus you can team up for much bigger ult warps by having 1 warp then when you arrive have another one start their ult.

Kindred No one can stop you from taking a tower/inhib.

for the first 20 minutes

afterwhich knowing how to play and having balls of any kind will win the game

heimer actually isn't very good unless you win in the first 20 minutes (and you probably wont)

Yasuo: If you are launched into the air by one Yasuo tornado, 3-5 Yasuos ult you with that one knockup.

yasuo is terrible in one-for-all

MasterYi: If a teamfight breaks out, all five Master Yis immediately become untargetable while your team suffers 5 Alpha Strikes.

no, not everyone, it can only hit so many people and for the most part they will never be allowed to coordinate this well against any decent team

Illaoi: The enemy team will never win a teamfight. Period.

just no.

short range, not enough damage, short gapcloser. you will get outplayed and lose many teamfights

You've evidently never played this game mode if you think this. Maybe Illaoi's not so good as I might say, perhaps. But I know, for sure, that the others are really strong in One-For-All.

But, hey, you have your opinion, I have mine.

For the most part my statements weren't opinions, they were just literal facts meaning they can be proven or disproven. But they were facts for the most part.

I'd like to go a step further and say that yasuo gets shit on in one for all because he is easily countered with no team of any significance to back him up. They can get 1 ult off and kill 1 or 2 opponents but even then they are all clusterfucked for easy cheesing

depending on what opponent they get, and most will fuck them, they will not have a good time. Especially if its something like katarina which is also terrible in this mode but is picked a lot nonetheless
