I believe it's about time you stop catering to low elo

I'm sorry to say (being of that majority myself) that you will NEVER balance the game properly if you keep catering to the lower portion of the population (as end the bottom of the leaderboards). There are going to be noob crushing champions. That's just the way it is. That's how the game operates. There will be champs that require more teamwork to shut down than others. But that's fine. That's how it should be. You can't get better unless you learn how to deal with said champions.

With that said, I believe it's time to start balancing around the higher end of the spectrum. I know why you don't. You've explained it numerous times. I understand. We understand. But I don't agree, and I might be a bit presumptuous here, but I believe most others don't agree as well. If you want proper balance, you need to look at the higher end of the spectrum. What works? What doesn't work? Games are only balanced when you put strategies through a perfect simulator to see what's superior/inferior to the next. And you'll only get that viewing the higher part of the game. I can almost guarantee that this won't affect lower elo that much.

If people in lower brackets want to rise up, they need to adapt. You can't keep all of the masses happy, but at the very least you can try to balance your game properly. If it's working and games are balanced and even in high play, then the game is balanced. If champs can't be viable in higher elos, then so be it. If champs are too strong in lower elos but balanced in higher elos, then so be it. I prefer to have the game completely balanced and struggle dealing with it because of my own shortcomings, rather than having it completely broken and one sided.

I 100% agree.

Honestly from a lower elo perspective I can see how trash bronze is as well as silver and gold. Shoot im trash at ADC and jung most of the time and i know it 1000%. But I also know when and how to take objectives, how to do everything at least okay, so im currently silver. The low elo which honestly still includes plat chase kills, dont understand proper plays and positioning, and rage for some reason. The amount of plat 5s that I have outright beat in lane on champs they have positive winrates in ranked with is hilarious. They farm better and press objectives with AD or sheen champs that can take objectives by themselves. Pure and simple low elo is any rank you can climb to by playing carry champs and knowing decent macro. I know yadda yadda im only silver yadda yadda how would you know. I research, plain and simple I know the game and I play for fun rather than ranked. I have friends on the Esports team that still do incredibly stupid things in diamond. There is a giant skill gap from plat to diamond and if you pit teams up against each other you see it immediately. It is tremedous the farm, how fast they focus an objective, the lane swaps, the farm, the gold the team comps. The way they bait abilities it is not even close. The biggest gap is usually time spent playing which diamonds do significantly more than the lower elos.

With all that said. They do need to balance more towards the diamond, to master level. Just because little Jimmy does not know how to stop the fed immobile mage. Is too short sighted to see that his team scales better. Or cant for the life of him seem to focus the tier 3 tower over a 0 34 4 ashe support chase for 30 seconds of the other teams death timers. Should not despair the health of the game.

As long as late game hyper carries like twitch, kog, kait and trist are not rediculously tuned to outright win a game, and tanks cant one shot a 2000 health champ talking to friggin cho and galio. Then there is no need to consider the bronze to gold elos at all. They will play no matter what. They will buy things no matter what. The health and balance of the game comes as the lower elos learn from the higher so it will get better over time if riot focuses on the higher elo.

Are you for real? The game is being balanced with the middle elos in mind. Plat/Dia level.

Plat isn't low elo. Just saying.

Game is balanced for High Plat. So, not super high MMR, but neither "the bottom of the leaderboards".

Yea this game isn't balanced around bronze garbage. Bronze is a hilarious game where I don't think I am even playing LoL anymore. I used to think that people who are hard stuck bronze are there because they can have 3 or 4 bad teammates, but holy shit. Bronze Elo is like a free for all. Going Sion ADC in Bronze 5 is hilarious or play WW JG/Top. They all think you are running scripts on WW when you ult them while they are in a bush.

But no Mid to High plat is where the game is balanced. If you notice Bronze/Silver/Gold people spam Yasuo or Ban him. I know there are Diamonds and maybe a few Master One Trick Yasuo players, but he is a joke if you keep him down. I get excited when the enemy has Yasuo because it's a free lane, but I hate it when my team picks Yasuo, because 80% of the time they feed and then rage at everyone.

Lol OP needs to learn math. Plat is top 5% of the playerbase. Calling them low elo is like telling someone making 150-200k a year poor.
