Anyone else hate plat?

So I got plat about a week ago and ever since this has happened the quality of games has gone down. I haven't had a single game without a troll on either side. Every game seems to be a win or loss based on this. Also, a lot of my wins or losses are because of afks on either side resulting in an open mid. When people talk about elo hell, I think this is what they've been talking about. I climbed from silver 5 to now plat and have never had this many terrible games until plat. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing in plat? Also, any tips for dealing with the amount of ragers I'm getting?
