Testing her out in bot games to make sure I got the ropes, went ap for giggles. That damage! Quickly reloadable rocket launcher with massive range. Its like Shaco's E when he goes ap. Inb4 it gets nerfed =(.

I doubt it'll be nerfed; It does a lot of damage, but other than her mobility she only has that.

yea I agree no one is going to go full AP because then the entire rest of her kit is basically useless

No, outside of a Triforce, or possibly an IBG, no one is going to build AP on Rek'Sai. Her q is really neat, but it isn't strictly part of her damage potential in a fight. It's a meh tier poke that functions more as a scouting tool than as a ranged attack.

I plan on trying AP Rek'Sai when I eventually get her in ARAM, but no one will really use that build on the other maps for anything but an experiment.

Been doing Reksai as AP every time. Teams aren't ready to except a sniper on their team. People want ganks, not for the enemy laner to be terrified of the jungler- to the point that they literally won't go past the half way point ;D. Yep, snipes that good. Planning on adding rek to my rotation of champions that I can play at the toss of a hat. =D Soon as I can actually aim skill shots in the middle of CC wars >
