So, why does no one hate TF's passive? Or complain more?

Because he doesn't shout cards every 5 seconds, Mr Barrel.

I think the distinction between TF/GP has 3 elements 1)GP gets the bonus gold on his Q passive as well as having a normal passive, whereas TF has his entire passive taken up by the bonus gold 2) GP is a late game hypercarry, and as such gold is more powerful on him than on other champs 3) GP has recently been seen as OP and so people were looking for things to trim off his kit, and bonus gold was an easy target. TF is more or less seen as balanced and so people don't mind that he gets the bonus gold

Because TF can't spam a ranged attack on the enemy champion for 10 gold at a time and ignore farming altogether. And then instantly decimate and loot waves for mass gold in lategame.

The bigger issue with GP is that he gains +10 gold by using Parrrley on enemy champions every 5 seconds when he takes the Bandit Mastery.

On top of that, when he gets more damage, he can Parrrley a Barrel and get +6 gold for every unit it kills.

Also, with the bonus gold injection he is able to be an obnoxious bruiser / split-pusher while still being able to provide global map pressure from his ultimate.

I don't "hate" GP for this. I actually like him a lot.

But TF only gets rewarded for last hitting, which is more available for him, but is already a core mechanic for all champions.

While he is very offensive, he tends toward glass cannon.

As for his ultimate, he does provide above average map pressure, but it is not global.
